Brushing his teeth in Grandpa’s bathroom is strange.

There is no footstool, like at home, to help Ellis reach the sink.

And Grandpa is not so used to brushing kids’ teeth.

That is obvious.

But it is nice and cozy curling up on the couch and listening to a story.

Grandpa reads the book several times.

The last time, he reads it a bit funny. Then he falls asleep in the chair. That’s when Ellis falls asleep too, because it is quite boring just to lie quietly and stare into space.

Oh! What was that?

A strange noise wakes Ellis up.

Grandpa has gone to his own bed in his room.

Ellis holds Ballowits tightly and looks around. It is dark.

Everything looks so strange in the glow from the streetlight outside.
